A visit to Koli national park and Ruunaa recreation area. First a guided tour
up to Koli hill.
After Koli thrilling rapids in Ruunaa recreation area. Outdoor lunch at a hut
in the forest with open fireplace in the middle. The meal includes smoked salmon,
“lanttukukko”- a bread filled with swede and pork, traditional Karelian
pies, egg and butter mixture, butter, margarine, rye bread, summer salad and
dressing, milk, sour milk, juice, water, home-brewed beer, coffee by campfire,
tea, pastry, grilled sausage.

7.30 The bus stops at Finnhostel Joensuu (street address: Kalevankatu 8).
7.45 The bus stops at Sokos Hotel Vaakuna
7.55 The bus stops at Sokos Hotel Kimmel
Transfer to Koli
9.00 Koli Hill. Guided tour
10.00 Coffee at the Scenary Restaurant Koli
10.30 Bus transfer to Ruunaa recreation area
12.00 Rapids-shooting and outdoor lunch
15.30 Transfer back to Joensuu

Price includes bus transfers, guided tour, coffee and sandwich in Koli, rapids-shooting,
all the equipment which needed in rapids-shooting, outdoor lunch and services
of a tour leader.
Notification!
Please take extra clothing with you. You might get wet during the rapids shooting.
Rubber boots, raincoat, water proof trousers and life jacket will be provided
by the organizer.
