Final paper submission

The ICALT 2004 review process is now complete. By April 19, 2004, all authors should have received the decision notification. All submissions were reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, significance, soundness and clarity. At least two referees reviewed each paper proposal submission under a double-blind peer-review process.

Instructions for authors of accepted papers:

• Authors should check the category in which their paper has been accepted. Please note that the committee may have accepted your proposal under a different presentation category then the one in which you submitted. This decision is generally made on the basis of the cumulative analysis of all the submissions, and the reason may not be apparent in the comments from the reviewers.
  
  
• By May 3, 2004 ->
  Please complete and sign the copyright form and send by fax to +64-6-3505725 or by airmail to: Assoc. Prof. Kinshuk, Information Systems Department, Massey University, Private Bag 11-222, Palmerston North, New Zealand. Without this form, IEEE will not publish your paper in the proceedings. Please make sure that you complete the Submission ID, Paper Title and Names of All Authors in the form.
  
  
• By May 24, 2004 ->
  
  1. Format your paper according to the following guidelines: http://ifets.massey.ac.nz/icalt2004/author_kit.txt. Authors can also use Word Template and Format guidelines.
  2. Please make sure to keep your paper within these limits:
     Full papers: 5 pages
     Short paper: 3 pages
     Poster: 2 pages
  3. We need the final paper in Word or RTF format. PDF files are not accepted. If you used LaTex, please contact Dr Kinshuk at kinshuk@ieee.org for further instructions.
  4. Name your final paper file as follows:
     paperID followed by first three characters of your last name
     For example, author Joe Smith with paper ID 1 will submit file 1smi.doc.
  5. Upload your final paper at Final Paper Submission web page (http://sahaja.massey.ac.nz/~kinshuk1/icalt2004/final_submission.html) by May 24, 2004.
  6. If you have any problems with the above web submission form, you can send the manuscript by email to icalt-operations@ieee.org (subject: ICALT2004 Final Submission). Please provide following information in your email: Names and complete address details of all authors (including email addresses), Submission ID, and Title of the submission.
  7. After submission, if you do not receive an acknowledgement from us by email within 36 hours, please contact us urgently at kinshuk@ieee.org
  
  
  
• By May 31, 2004 ->
  At least one author should complete the registration form by May 31, 2004. We should have the registration fee by this date for paper to be included in the proceedings. Please note, that at the most two items per registrant will be published in the proceedings (it is possible for multiple co-authors to register to get more than two items published, as long as there is at least one registrant per two items).
