ABOUT WIRTUALNA EDUKACJA

Wirtualna Edukacja (ISSN 1175-5318) is the first bimonthly distance education online journal in Poland. WE is engaged in popularisation of distance education among Polish teachers. The journal includes constant and temporary information. Readers can also find the same papers in Polish and English version. Wirtualna Edukacja plays an important role as Polish WWW-based learning resources for people, who are interested in distance education.

Profile and structure of journal. On the WWW pages of WE readers can find different information about:

  • policy of distance education in Poland and in the World,
  • strategy of distance teaching,
  • useful solutions which are used all over the world,
  • distance education models,
  • new hardware and software technologies which have been used in distance education,
  • role of Information and Communication Technology in distance education.
