Travel to WMTE 2002 Växjö is situated in south-east Småland at the heart of southern Sweden and close to Copenhagen, Malmö and Gothenburg. Växjö can be reached by plane, train or bus. Växjö airport is not international, except for package tours, but is served by jet feeder planes of SAS from both Copenhagen and Stockholm. Växjö can be reached also by fast train from Copenhagen's airport (around 2 hours and 15 minutes). The fast train from Stockholm to Växjö takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes.
